1/7
Brazil
Brazil is the world’s largest coffee producer, known for smooth, balanced green coffee with approachable flavors like chocolate, caramel, nuts, and soft fruit. Large farms and mechanized harvesting define most of the production, especially in regions like Minas Gerais and Cerrado.
While much of the coffee is volume-driven, exceptional lots with full traceability do exist, especially from higher altitudes or specific fazendas. Lower-grade coffees may carry broad labels like "Santos," which indicate port, not farm.
At Binan coffee, we partner with producers and cooperatives in Brazil who focus on traceability, consistency, and quality. Whether you're sourcing for blends or looking for a standout single origin, our Brazilian lots are selected to deliver.

2/7
Colombia
Colombia is known for green coffee that ranges from smooth and chocolatey to sweet and fruit-forward. Its high altitudes and diverse climates offer dependable variety across regions and harvests.
Coffee production is shaped by the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (FNC), which has helped strengthen farmer communities and exports. However, labels like Supremo and Excelso refer only to bean size, not to quality or traceability.
At Binan Coffee, we look beyond classifications. We source Colombian green coffee with clear origin and trusted partnerships, selecting lots for their performance in the roast and reliability in the cup.

3/7
Ethiopia
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and still one of its most dynamic origins. Grown at high altitudes using a variety of traditional methods, Ethiopian green coffee offers an exceptional range of flavors, from citrus and florals to bold, fruit-forward naturals.
Farms are often small and scattered, with limited infrastructure. Some coffees are traceable through cooperatives, while others move through national systems like the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange.
At Binan Coffee, we focus on results. We work with trusted partners to source Ethiopian coffees that combine clarity, character, and consistency across a wide range of profiles.

4/7
Indonesia
Indonesia offers bold, acidity coffees with heavy body and earthy, Grown by smallholder farmers across islands like Sumatra, Java, and Bali these coffees are often processed using giling basah (wet hulling), a traditional method that gives them their distinct character.
Traceability can be limited, but exceptional lots do exist, including fully washed coffees with cleaner profiles. Quality varies, but when sourced well, Indonesian coffees offer something unique.
At Binan Coffee, we work with farmers who understand these origins deeply. Our Indonesian selections are chosen for balance, character, and reliability in the roast.

5/7
Costa Rica
Costa Rica is known for clean, sweet, and reliable green coffee. While many lots were once mild with soft acidity, the rise of micro mills has brought new depth and variety. Producers now have more control over processing, leading to everything from classic washed profiles to standout honey and natural lots.
With high land ownership and a strong cooperative culture, traceability is more accessible here than in many other origins. This shift has opened the door to exceptional microlots with clear provenance and character.
At Binan Coffee, we focus on Costa Rican Crops that offer both clarity and diversity. We work with partners who understand this evolving origin and know how to deliver coffees that perform in the cup.

6/7
Uganda
While Uganda is often associated with Robusta, its Arabica production is growing in quality and recognition. Top lots show dark fruit notes, a clean finish, and structured sweetness.
Arabica is harvested across two seasons, with most quality lots coming from cooperatives and producer groups. Washed lots are called Wugar, while naturals are known as Drugar. Traceability is improving as more producers take control of processing and branding.
At Binan Coffee, we keep a close eye on emerging origins like Uganda. We work with trusted partners to source Arabica lots that reflect the country’s growing potential and offer real depth in the cup.

7/7
Guatemala
Guatemala is known for high-altitude coffees with sweet, balanced flavor profiles, often showcasing notes of chocolate, citrus, and soft fruit. Volcanic soil and regional microclimates give its Arabica a clear identity in the cup.
Production is spread across smallholder farms and estates, with quality lots often traceable to cooperatives or individual regions. While climate challenges and land pressures remain, many producers continue to focus on quality and transparency.
At Binan, we work with partners in Guatemala who prioritize consistency and traceability. Our lots are selected for their clean profile, regional character, and reliability in roasts that demand both depth and balance.
